Your Right to Information
The Information Commissioner of the Northern Territory is the independent officer appointed to oversee the Freedom of Information and Privacy provisions of the Information Act.
FOI applications can be made to South Australian state government agencies, ministers, local councils and state universities. Each agency has FOI staff responsible for processing FOI applications in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1991.
More information about making an FOI request is available in FOI Fact Sheet 6 - How to apply and in the FOI FAQs for individuals.
The Queensland Government is committed to giving the community greater access to information. The Right to Information reforms strengthen the community’s right to access government-held information, unless, on balance, releasing the information would be contrary to the public interest.
