GST on imported services and digital products
From 1 July 2017 goods and services tax (GST) applies to cross-border supplies of services and digital products imported by Australian consumers. Overseas businesses may need to pay GST to the Australian Tax Office (ATO). B2B transactions with an Australian Business with an ABN are exempt.
